Fields Environmental's first brownfield remediation project was the former RCI Facility located on the south side of Bloomington.  RCI was a recycling facility that was contaminated by illegal dumping practices resulting in heavy metal contamination.  The facility is now the home of Thickstun Glass Company.

The Former Ed Greene Salvage

This site is a work in progress, and the home of Fields Environmental's Corporate Headquarters. The site includes, the office building, a residential home, a new garage/storage building and a commercial/residential building that will be built in the future. Brownfields III, LLC sold a portion of the property to Habitat for Humanity who built three residential homes on the property. The site is the former home of a family junkyard that operated for over 30 years. During the remediation phase 95 tri-axle loads of contaminated soil were removed.
